Description
This is 'Calbourne' - Engine 24 on the Isle of Wight railway.
Everything on the isle of wight seems to be a bit quirky and the whole place seems to be stuck in the 1800s, but this is the icing on the cake of old-fashioned-ness; a steam railway through the heart of the postcard-perfect scenery of the southern downs.
Shortly after taking this photo, we changed platform to catch the mainline train back to Ryde, which in itself is more of a museum piece.
